Colors and papers used are of professional artist quality. Papers are acid free and colors will look the same for years to come. I use Sennelier, Schmincke Horadam and Daler Rowney Artists' colors. Papers are Canson Heritage, Bockingford, DR The Langton Prestige, Fabriano Artistico, Saunders Waterford, Hahnemühle Expression/Harmony and Arches - all 300 gsm, fine grained (and occasionally rough).
Most paintings and prints are for sale. Some may be of private collection or sold. Please see information below each larger image of any painting.
Simply click on the Paypal or credit card buttons below any painting of interest or send me an email to tbergsdalartist@gmail.com and tell me what painting you would like to buy. Payment through Paypal with the above email address. Upon payment I will send the painting in a cardboard box to most locations worldwide. The buyer pays shipment fees. Before payment the customer will be notified about shipment fees.
Yes, I do ship worldwide - from Sweden. The shipping fee to most countries worldwide is approximately $25 USD, including cardboard flat box or tube. Please, do contact me in advance if you believe that your country has special delivery regulations.
I charge per linear inch (paper, side+side) and currently each inch is $8. This means, for example, that a 12x9 sized paper would be: 12+9=21 inches = 21*$8 = $168.00. These are original paintings - portrait commissions and other paintings.
If limited edition prints are offered for sale they will be clearly marked with a price - obviously at a lower price than an original painting.
Yes you can. Simply email me some photos (descent quality) of the subject and I will let you know what can be done depending on the photos sent. We will agree upon a photo to be painted, what size and the total cost. I currently charge $10 per linear inch (paper, side+side). A normal size of 12x9 inches would be 12+9=21 = $210.00. No additional cost except shipment fees.
A prepayment of 25% of the total cost is needed to start out a portrait painting.

Yes, you may change your mind or for other reasons want to withdraw. However, the prepaid 25% amount will not be reimbursed. The portrait will also be kept by the artist.
